EVENT VENUE OVERVIEW

The Majestic Downtown is an iconic filming location and event venue that is recognized as being a historical masterpiece in DTLA since 1924. With a combined 30,000+ square feet and stunning historically preserved ambiance, The Majestic is the perfect backdrop for any occasion.  Our 30 foot high Italian ceilings, arched windows, sculpted marble columns and original marble floors lend a rich historical beauty to any event or film set.  With 3 very different venue spaces within our building, we can accommodate large expos, video gaming events, weddings, corporate functions, galas, A-List red carpet events, private parties, and more.

The North Hall maintains the ambiance of the South Hall, yet is personal and intimate- perfect for the smaller gathering. It is the ideal setting for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, luncheon or any special event. The North Hall is 4,900 square feet, and can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit down dinner, and 250 for a cocktail party.

The spacious South Hall is perfect for any and all types of events. It's historical preservation is captivating, making it ideal for a wedding, conference, social event, fundraising gala and more. It includes a foyer, raised stage, full bar, and two grand staircases to the Mezzanine. The South Hall is 10,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 400 guests on the ground level, 200 on the Mezzanine for a sit-down dinner, and 800 for a cocktail party on both levels combined.

We only host ceremonies in the North Hall, the rental rate starts at $1000. For reception in the South Hall, rental rate starts at $13,000. *Note: South Hall Reception price includes Cocktail Hour on the Mezzanine. We can host weddings as small as 50 guests or as large as 500 guests. 

The venue rental includes (30) 72" round tables, 300 banquet chairs, 250 gold Chiavari chairs, 1 private and fully furnished suite with private restroom, two built-in marble bars, HVAC, and 12ft long cascading crystal chandeliers.
